Giveaway Countdown
On the homefront, I am getting ready for baby #2. I usually try not to bore with too many details/stories about my personal life. But I'm overjoyed, so I feel like I have to share. In less than two months, I will be the mother of a baby girl (the hubby is happy and my son is excited about being a big brother).
I'm sure life will change for me in ways I can't possibly imagine. Only time will tell for sure. Fortunantely, I like staying busy. With work, school and family, it seems like I won't have much down time on my hands.
I hope everybody is enjoying their new year so far and that there are many more awesome things to come.

2013...here we come!
The new year is right around the corner and as always, I'm excited. I love the new year for all the typical reasons. I'm not big on resolutions but I love the fresh feeling of a new year. So much happens in a year's time, we all need a fresh start, even if it is mostly symbolic. If you only change one thing in your life for the better, your life will improve.
As for me, I'm going to make less time for negativity in my life. Primarily, its a work thing. During our down time, people tend to complain A LOT. As I listen to several people complain continuously, I often wonder if I'm that bad. I think venting is normal, but I never want to be known as a Janie COMPLAINIE. So I guess the upside is that it makes me mindful of my behavior. The downside however, is that I go home completely drained. My life is relatively drama free by choice, so its not fun to carry the weight of other people's mess. So before I return to work, I'm coming up with ways to take that out of my work experience.
The other thing will be taking better care of myself. Just all around. I love my family but I love myself too. So I'm taking myself off the bottom of my priority list.
And of course I would love to meet more readers and read more awesome books!
What changes are you making in the new year?

December, December.
Yep the year is coming to an end and there's more to do than ever. At least that's how it seems. I've been too busy to even think about New Years resolutions. I'm trying to get the most I can out of the month at hand. I am putting together some goodies for next year though. I would love to show my appreciation for readers by giving them goodies. So I'm working on something really good, stay tuned.

With Love
Speaking of the hubby, he's been working on the website, I can't wait until he's done. I know it's going to be awesome! So I'm forcing myself to be patient right now. While I wait, I'm working on some goodies to give away. Yay goodies! Handmade with love of course.
I wish everyone a safe Thanksgiving filled with love! Til next time...

Is it seriously November?
And before you even ask, yes I am one of those people who puts emphasis on getting things right for the New Year. I feel like it is a great time to evaluate and improve. I feel like you should work hard to make every year better than the one before. I know it doesn't always work out like that and you never know what's in store, but it's still worth the effort. Even if it's one thing. In the past couple years I have seriously been working on stress and not doing it so much. It's been a struggle but I've seen the change in myself. And people around me have seen it also.
For next year, I'm going to focus on seeing some of my ideas come to fruition. I'm going to stop putting things off or letting my tiredness keep me at a standstill. I have a job I like, but it's not the same fulfillment as I get from reading, writing and sharing the love for the written word with others. What are you working on for next year?
